Between June 2nd and 5th, the first edition of the ArPa art fair will be held at the Pacaembu Pavilion, a space located in the Pacaembu Complex, with entrance from Charles Miller Square.
ArPa receives more than 40 exhibitors who sell their works in an area of 4 thousand m². The central objectives of the event are to expand national art through this new experience and bring together collectors from all over the country, generating new opportunities for galleries and enabling connections with the international scene.
Among the exhibitors – from the primary and secondary market -, the Fair will have stands for young galleries, but also for artists already established in the arts circuit. The forecast is that the initial value for the commercialization of works in ArPa is from 5 thousand reais. “We want to produce an event aimed at business, but which also gives rise to the formation of an audience – that is why we are promoting guided tours with curators and cultural producers and we will also have the Arte em Campo sector, which takes to Charles Miller Square a selection of sculptures and facilities, outdoors, open to the public free of charge”, comments Camilla Barella, from the cultural agency VIVA Projects, the organizer of the event.
