For Frieze, Monnet presents a new body of work centred on gratitude as an act of resistance. In contrast to a culture driven by extraction, consumption, and perpetual growth, she proposes another rhythm, one grounded in attention, reciprocity, and care. Through weaving, embroidery, and pattern-making, slow and labour-intensive gestures become acts of preservation and renewal.
