"Alles Klar" is the new cycle of works of Ubay Murillo officially presented last fall at Twin Gallery of Madrid and the Costantini Art Gallery exhibit, with new works for the exhibition "erosión Vanguardia y (y otro sintomas Contemporáneos) ", in anticipation of the autumn exhibition to be held at GE Galeria Monterrey in Mexico.
After seven years of absence from the scene in Milan, the artist of Spanish origin, but Berlin adoption, returns with this series inspired by the world of fashion and advertising, where it lurks, however, an analysis on the current crisis and social economic, expressing their ideas through representations of subjects and hypothetical scenarios of advertising images in a piecemeal way, eroded and distorted. This disruption can be read as a synonym of the actual situation in the Community but, above all, provides opportunity to address and reinterpret the relationship between figure and background, between subject and object.
In the paintings, the scenes are distorted propaganda as if they were looking through distorting mirrors, in which the figures are diluted, mixed and melted into one perspective plane, a representation of a dissolution of the values and of the decline of the company, in a neo-baroque vision, where the figure is incorporated into the set design in which the artist interprets and intentionally disrupts the relationship between figure and ground.
The collages, however, recompose the reality, with the intent to convey a new message and a new balance of aesthetics using simply fragments of glossy magazines.
The vanguard (vanguard) as a new message interpretrazione contemporary and erosion (erosión) as a synonym of social transformation and adaptation are some of the symptom of our times.
