On the occasion of the first edition of Paris+ by Art Basel, the gallery will present - stand E07 - the mystical x-rays of Éric Benetto, secret and rare personality of contemporary art brut.
Present in emblematic collections such as those of Laurent Dumas, Antoine Frérot or Piet Meyer, it was exhibited in 2022 in Deus Ex Machina at the Soissons museum (curator: Clément Thibault), but also alongside Cecilia Granara in Débordements (curators: Anaël Pigeat and Yvannoé Kruger). A major figure in the disruptive exhibition Brut Now: Art brut in the technological era at the Belfort museum (catalog published by Presses du réel), his “fantastic forms of organic proliferation”, as Marc Lenot calls them, never cease to fascinate.
