Pilar Corrias is pleased to participate in Art Basel 2022. Pilar Corrias is delighted to announce Cui Jie’s participation in this year’s Unlimited, Art Basel’s unique platform for large-scale projects that transcend the traditional art fair booth. Taking place in Hall 1.0, Unlimited will be curated by Giovanni Carmine, Director of the Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen.
Cui Jie will present People’s Square (2022), a new work that has developed from her study of civic squares in various cities, chiefly those in China and former Soviet Union regions, which, in the post-1989 transition, have undergone complication aesthetic transformation.
