20 > 22 May, 2022
Taipei Dangdai Art & Ideas, presented by UBS, makes its much-anticipated return from 20-22 May 2022
. This special edition of Taipei Dangdai, taking place at Taipei World Trade Center, offers an intimate proximity to this year’s select roster of leading international galleries, experiencing the very best of contemporary art from around the world in downtown Taipei.
For 2022, the Fair faces in two directions at once: towards our engaged local communities and towards the thrilling new networks of digital culture. If we could distill the lessons of the past two years into a singular formulation, it would be to cherish these opportunities to focus on the here and now. We are globally connected as never before, and able to learn more deeply about more artists than at any time in human history. At the same time, we have more profound relationships with those in our immediate community, and commit to building a better world together. If 2021 was about the politics of representation and inclusion—picturing the possibilities of coming together—then 2022 will be about construction: devising solutions for our shared future.
Adapting dynamically to our changing environment in order to continue bringing together the international art world in Taipei, we look forward to seeing you this May.
