SPARK Art Fair Vienna will launch the European art season in March 2022. With its unique exhibition architecture of 90 solo presentations, three curated sections and a great mix of 80 Austrian and international galleries, it is Austria’s leading contemporary art fair.
With the announcement of the participating galleries and the solo presentations of emerging and established international artists which are to be exhibited, SPARK Art Fair Vienna continues on its successful path towards becoming one of the leading art fairs in Europe. In total, 39 galleries from Austria will be represented, and 45 selected solo presentations from contemporary and modern artists will be exhibited at the fair. Also in 2022, SPARK will present numerous previously unpublished works including artworks created especially for the art fair.
The response to our exhibition format, with its focus on individual presentations, open architecture, a diverse appeal, and the opportunity to experience national and international artists ‘up close’ through both their art and their presence, has been overwhelming after the premiere in 2021. Based on this success, SPARK Art Fair Vienna 2022 will offer an even better mix of emerging and established artists, from national and international galleries and from carefully selected areas of focus, thereby igniting a spark in the world of contemporary art.
