Estampa is a contemporary art fair that has been held in the autumn of Madrid for 29 years. Its scope of work is the art market in Spain, and its concern is the formation and stabilisation of sustainable collecting for a gallery scene that is constantly growing and updating in our country.
The fair is structured around a General Programme of major Spanish galleries and a series of programmes whose curators present the most recent developments in contemporary art practice or focus on more experimental issues that are less common to the general public.
Our collectors' programme brings together a selection of international buyers who come to Estampa every year to discover or corroborate the quality of our national galleries and is complemented by a programme of activities focused on exploring and reviewing contemporary art collecting in Spain and Portugal.
ESTAMPA promotes both a national and international Collectors' Programme, with a special invitation to private collectors, advisors and collection managers, institutional directors and market and collecting professionals from all over Europe.
Acquisition prizes awarded by different institutions, residencies, meetings and professional forums, as well as programmes of visits and relations with the public, are increasingly present at each edition, to emphasise the commitment of public and private collectors and our professionals to the art market in Spain.
