WOPART is the name of an annual exhibition dedicated to ‘Artworks on Paper’ from ancient to contemporary art which takes place in Lugano in September.
It is one of the most acclaimed event in the international art fairs calendar.
Last year more than 90 galleries from 14 different countries participated to the show. The event welcomed over 10,000 between collectors, investors, entrepreneurs, professionals and business operators recording significant sales volumes.
Today, Wopart represents the most expected event dedicated to the Works on paper both for the number of gallerists that will be participating and for countries of origin. It is the most awaited event for the international collecting.
The extensive collection of works spanned between ink drawings to oils on paper, covering several fields including graphic design and photography.
WOPART will open its door again this year with its forth edition which will take place in Lugano from the 19th to the 22nd September 2019.
This year the event will offer an incredible collection of ‘art of paper’ as well as the chance to create business opportunities through in-house events, liaising all different sectors and professional within the art business.
