GALERIE SUPPER ist pleased to announce its participation in art KARLSRUHE 2018, one of Germany's biggest art fairs. Within the context of international exhibitors with a focus on modern and contemporary art, we will present well known als well as new positions from the program of the gallery. For the first time, works by Leipzig-based artist Tino Geiss (*1978, Jena, Painting/Collage) will be on view at art KARLSRUHE. Alongside abstract, illusionist, and colorful paintings, his oeuvre comprises interiors and bouquets, collages made from masking tape, leftovers from the painting process. Having been a means to an end once, the were turned into artistic material themselves. Marked by the decisive ductus of his paintings, the strips are combined anew, forming abstract perspektiven and contrasty arrangements. Monika Thiele (*1966, Erfurt, Collage) will be present with a whole new group of works. After her intense involvement in thread painting, she turned to the medium of paper cutting. Through complex layering of most different materials and structures, At the same time figurative and abstract, Thiele creates imageries which walk a fine line between metaphorical and explicit subjects. At our booth in Hall 2 / A18 we also present following positions from the program of the gallery: Rayk Goetze (*1964, Stralsund, painting), Christian Awe (*1978, Berlin, painting), Patricia Thoma (*1977, Müllheim, sculpture), Andreas Wachter (*1951, Chemnitz, painting and sculpture), as well as Berlin-based artist Mike MacKeldey (*1973, Frankfurt/Main, painting).
